Welcome to Hot Dog University. As you continue to browse and use Hotdogu.com you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our privacy policy govern Hot Dog University's relationship with you in relation to this website.

The term 'Hot Dog University' or 'us' or 'we' refers to the owner of the website whose registered office is 2501 N. Damen Ave, Chicago, IL 60614. The term 'you' refers to the user or viewer of our website.

Hot Dog University Terms and Conditions

Hours

Classes begin promptly at 8 am on scheduled days, unless specifically listed otherwise.  Please confirm all start and end times with the instructor.  There is much to cover in the course, so we respectfully ask that you plan on arriving ten minutes prior to the class start time to ensure that things can kick off on time.

Instructors
All training is provided directly by Mark Reitman, Professor of Hot Dogs.

Course Cancellation Policy

Hot Dog University reserves the right to cancel any course two weeks prior to its scheduled date. In the rare event of such cancellation by Hot Dog University, paid registrants will receive a full refund or credit to attend an equivalent course.

Student Cancellation Policy
All registrations for scheduled classes must be prepaid. Registration for scheduled courses is firm and cannot be canceled. If a person cannot attend a course for which he/she has been scheduled, there are three options:

1.    if Hot Dog University is notified more than ten working days prior to the scheduled course, the person may be rescheduled for an equivalent course at a later date (no more than six months subsequent to the original registration date);

2.    if Hot Dog University is notified less than ten working days prior but not less than one working day prior to the scheduled course, 75 percent of the course fee can be credited to a course at a later date (no more than six months subsequent to the original registration date); or

3.    if Hot Dog University is notified on the course date or the person does not attend, rescheduling is not permitted and training costs incurred are non-refundable.

Purpose and Disclaimer
The purpose of a Hot Dog University education is to acquaint students with the techniques and skills necessary to become successful hot dog stand or cart business operators. The class may also address product information regarding sausage, bread, and carts. Hot Dog University takes no responsibility for failure of student businesses, nor does it provide complete information regarding specific state/city business licensing procedures. 

Participation Agreement

It is hereby understood and acknowledged that the attendee may appear or participate in videos, Webcasts or other media produced by Hot Dog University, and that neither attendee nor sponsoring company shall be entitled to receive and hereby waives any legal, equitable or other right to royalties or fees arising from or in connection with any use by Hot Dog University of attendee’s name, likeness or work product in connection with the production, marketing, promotion or sale of any such videos, Webcasts or otherwise.
